USES: It is an important intermediate of agricultural pesticide. In dyestuff industry, it can be also used to synthesize the ice colors-Fast Red KB base, naphthol AS-KB. Its color will turn deep in the ultraviolet. Alkali and high temperature will cause it to decompose.
